Extra Z-680 Sats and a powerless sub

I got my Z-680s a couple of weeks ago and just recently they developed the infamous subwoofer rattle. After searching this forum for info, I called Logitech, explained the problem and they decided to send me another set.

The customer service guy had me cut the power cord off of the subwoofer (very painful to do) and send it to him along with the control unit.

My question is, what can I do with the five satellites and what, if anything can I do with a subwoofer without a powercord. I realize they had me cut the cord so I couldn't use it, I just want to know if I had any other options other than tossing it out. Thanks!

I had to send in the control speaker on my Z-540's. The satts and sub are useless as far as I can tell, although someday I might rewire the sub to make it useful and then sell it. Satts I guess you could sell on e-bay as replacements. Besides, they're already broken in!!

With my awful luck, I'd keep them as spares. When you oen a cat you never know..
