Broadcom 440 nic and Windows 2003

I have an MSI 648max motherboard and installed Windows 2003 server for testing.

It has a Broadcom NIC (onboard) and I can't seem to get any of the drivers to work.

The NIC chip has BCM4401KFB on it.

Anyone know if this NIC will work and where I can find drivers?

Hmm I know the new dell inspirons use the integrated broadcom 440 10/100 ethernet card. you might be able to find drivers from them. Or just goto www.driversguide.com and do a search for them

Ouch.. another site you have to sign up for.

I think this is a specific Windows 2003 issue.

any referneces to the drivers for the Nic (without having to sign up to websites to download)????

http://www.broadcom.com/docs/driver-download.html There you go. Even better. I found them for you in the middle of the page. Try the w2k drivers.

Your probably going to need to email broadcom about Win 2003 drivers for the BCM4401 series adapters then.
