router probs

I have a belkin 4-port cable/dsl gateway router. worked ok for a couple of months. now loses internet conection after a couple of mins and resets.I have up dated firmware but this still happens.
running xp home & xp pro. any suggestion?

Are your network speed and duplex settings correct? Meaning, do they match the settings that your cable/dsl provider are using?
