Powered by ATi Radeon 9800XT
How soon after do companies outside of ATi start making graphics cards based on the latest VPU? (When can I expect to buy a 9800XT by Powercolor, etc.?)

Thanks for the replies. I checked ASUS, but they only have nVidia cards listed. Connect3D, Gigabyte, and Tyan did not have any info on the 9800XT. Sapphire had info on the 9800XT and 9600XT, but not when they will start selling them.
According to Sapphire, they will be making a 128MB version of the 9800XT, just like Powercolor. http://www.sapphiretech.com/VGA/9800-xt.asp |

That's interesting. So as early as next calendar year AGP video cards will become obsolete? According to this article, the last AGP video card ATi will make is the R420 and everything else after that will be PCI-Express.
