I have a P111 800 with a 20gb HDD. It had 64MB Ram so I installed a 128MB Stick thinking I would boost Ram to 192MB. But I only got 128. Funny thing is I take out the 64MB stick leaving the 128 and the PC only shows 64mb.????? Weird i know.
I know the 128 stick is 128 as it was working in another machine.. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change for it too pick up the extra RAM

sounds like it may be slightly incompatible with the motherboard..like maybe it is double sided and the motherboard only likes single sided ram.

Do you know what motherboard it is?

Did you take the 64 out and then put the 128 in the slot where the 64 was? If not, maybe try that one time.
