I'm looking to buy a pre-built, or build a new comp. It has to be able to multi-task like a madman(like, 5 IE windows, WinAMP, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, a couple other windows like music or documents at one time. Or just a game like Halo 2 or Doom 3 with Winamp, and my messengers running in the background), pull off media apps(like rendering, editing, photoshop, ACDSee, etc. Plus I am an Anime junkie). Then there's also the gaming front. Games like Halo 2, Doom 3(or for something that's currently out, Halo, RO, D2, UT, etc). And resource hog emulators, etc I should have no problem playing.

I know how to install RAM, HDD, and I think I can do a video card on my own. The rest I have no experience with, and i'm a bit standoffish about it. Also I can't buy it all at once. It will probably be bought in spurts over the course of the next month.

And I AM interested in overclocking, which is why I was thinking about a XP 2500+ and possibly a 9600 no pro 128MB.

Suggestions/comments/etc on every little piece of eerything I could buy/do/build would be extremely helpful.

P.S. Then again it would be more helpful if I could find someone to come to my house and teach me/walk me through things lol
