Now that I got the a,b,g thing explained, I guess I need to figure out what pc card to get. Should I buy the card before buying the router or should I buy them together to make sure they're compatible? I don't want to spend a ton of money but I do want something that is reliable and not going to poop out on me in a few months. Any recommendations? Thanks for all your help so far.
Kerry

Go with the best. Get an Orinoco Gold card. You won't be sorry.

I would go with a G because it also works with B. I also read somewhere that B is the current standard and there's a push to make the standard into G.
