So I was looking for a way to get rid of this EZ-BIOS RUNNING thing that pops up when I boot up my friends pc that I'm trying to fix. When I came to a forum on this site that talked about getting rid of it. The one suggestion that seemed that it would work the best is to get the Maxblast program. I went online and dowloaded it and saved it to a cd rom. When I got in to Dos I would put in maxblast.exe and then a screen pops up that takes me through this little process, but in the end it says I have no maxblast drives. Then I went back online and downloaded some different maxblast versions. Some of them said that it can only run under win32. Anyways I'm really struglling on getting this thing off so if anyone has advice that would be great.
Thanks,
Wade
EZ Bios is a Western Digital program,so ya might be better off to look HERE and use the Old DLG Diag in the package to do a low level format. Should work fine after that.
So I downloaded the advisor.exe and saved it to a floppy and when I got into dos it says the program cannot be run in dos mode. And when I do through the startup disk and run from cd it won't work either.
And yes it is odd, I have never heard of it eathier but the name of the hard or it's company is called-
Simple Technology. and its a 12 gig hd
Thanks again and I'm sorry I can't get this to work.
