Video Clock Frequencies

Is there a way to check the core and memory clock frequencies of your video card? I would like to know how to do this for both ATi and nVidia cards.

for nvidia you can download the coolbits registry hack and run it this will open up the clock frequencies tab in your nvidia control panel.

You can also try PowerStrip from
http://www.entechtaiwan.com/
and that will allow you to overclock and change a multitude of settings while your at it.

Well, PowerStrip is free and you can give it to people. For the registered version you have to pay money (legal way) or....nevermind. So yeah, theirs no cost, but the tips window pops up every time you start your PC, and it makes you wait several seconds before you close it.

And dont forget about Rage3DTweak. IMO, it works better with ATI cards than powerstrip.

Oh, I thought there was a fee to use Powerstrip. That's why I never downloaded it. Thanks for the heads up!
