How much of an audiophile are you?
The Logitech z340s offer a much cheaper solution.

If you can afford them. The next set of speakers I'll be buying will be the Logitech z-340s.

I'm not saying the Promedia's don't sound better - I just can't afford that kind of money for computer speakers.

Are we really talking $169.99 for a 2.1 system? OMG! unless you are a nut, run down and pick up some $30 set like I have. Altec Lansing 2.1 (221 model) I got them for $20 after rebates and they kick darn well for 2.1's.

Yeah, I agree... $169 is just way too much for 2.1 speakers...

anyone here with a good ol' set of klipsh horns knows.. 100watts of power is fatal. i can't even turn mine past 40watts without bleeding at the ear.
