if any of you have looked at my forsale thread , you know i have had some xp1800 cpus forsale . well i just got done building a new cow for fad and just wanted to let ya know i got it running right now at 2.3gig at 1.6 volt with the retail hsf . not sure what the temp is as of yet don't have software loaded yet to let me see the temps in windows thats the next step . it is on an aopen ak79d-1394

it is running HELLA HOT .. was up to 64c yesterday when i went to werk . but it is right infront of a sliding glass door so the sun was beating on it to add to the heat . need to get a different hsf for it . to bad the mobo will only got to 200fsb

ahhh i ain't worried about the heat , it has a 80c max and winter is a commin . i will be moving my cows to a different spot soon just waiting on a new kvm switch . i can't seem to find a way to change the multiplyer on this mobo . but i haven't looked hard either .

i would have to say 2300 out of a 1.53 is dang good enough, i wouldn't expect another drop out of it, certainly not on stock cooling either.

easy there big guy, i don't have an animosity for ya just some friendly egging from the guy next door. ... oh yeah, don't tell jack about the boots, i lost them while throwing them off a bridge...
