remove microsoft photo editor

I have WinXp Home and enjoy the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for just viewing images. But after i installed Microsoft Office 2000 Pro, it set all my default image viewing to microsoft photo image editor, i went into folder options>file types and set them all to default and messed around with them, but i would like to uninstall Microsoft Photo Editor, how do i do this? it's not in add/remove prorams. is anyone familiar with microsoft office that knows their way around the numerous options of the program?

You'll have to click on "Change" for Microsoft Office in 'Add/Remove Programs'.

Photo Editor should be under "Office Tools", just set it's value to "Not Available" then click on "Update". This should get rid of it and SHOULD set all your defaults back.
