IS 129 degrees too HOT! for CPU ?

got a system running an AMD XP running warm
system temp is 111 degrees

Well if that's Farenheit (sp), then you're ok.

If that's Celsius, well I think you would have noticed some flames shooting out of your PC.

I hope 4 u its not celsius , Im sure though the processor would melt into the mobo at this temp...

Is that at Idle or after gaming? Stock heatsink/fan?

That would be almost 54°C. If that is during gaming, then I'd say you are just fine. If that is idle and you do a lot of gaming, then you need better airflow in your case.

Got it down to 114 with a big HS and Fan.
But now it sounds like a vacum cleaner.
