Problems with Nero

Hope someone may be able to give me an answer to this one.

Using Nero 5.5

Once I choose the file which I want to burn and press the burn Icon the window closes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but the same problem, nero window closes when I go to burn. Any thoughts on this ?

do you have the latest nero update installed?

Nero Clean Tools might run it and remove Nero again,then once iit is completely uninstalled try installing iit again.
