My Comp Beeps Because of Keyboard
It beeps everytime I hold plus, 7 and 8 on the numberpad. I use these keys to play counter-strike. My question is, is there anything i can do to stop the beeping noise. Because its only those keys that beep when i hold em at once.

Hi iluvqtchix,
Welcome to Techimo.
Unfortunately that is the way the hardware works. If you press down 3 keys at a time without at least one of the keys being a "modifier" key(Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Etc) the ps2 port on your motherboard interprets it as a keyboard error. There is no way around this.
If you are just starting out playing with CS I suggest you get a Joystick style controller. There are many good ones around but whichever one you get MAKE SURE if fits in your hands well oterwise you'll get cramps in your hands and lower arms.

pressing three keys on my keyboard does not invoke any beeps, i actually tried it on about a dozen computers this morning none of them made a beep because of it

I can't make mine beep at all. You aren't using a KVM are you? I've turned a Belkin KVM into a shreiking R2D2 playing games before.
