Hey dudes whats up. I got AMD to replace my cpu i burned it out a 2500+ Barton 333FSB.
I found that the socket was mounted to high on my shuttle board and on alot almost all Nforce2 boards. So I'm sellin it, my question is I was lookin at the DFI, LanPrty KT400A board listed here:
http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-165-1.htm
or the ECS:

My problem is that I have 1GB or PC2700 memory and that 2500+ 333FSB barton CPU, I do alot of gaming, AND I heard the DFI boards are good for that plus more because they are built strong. I dont know if the ECS can handle alot of gaming. As you can see the price diff is big, so that is also a factor I dont know how good an ECS, or DFI board is built. I did hear that the DFI boards last 9 months-1YEAR before a breakdown. I am not going with an nforce chipset again runs to hot, and the sockets are mounted to high. Keep in mind I also have a zalman copper flower cooling system listed here:
http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/cnps3100P.htm
I have this power supply:
http://www.antec-inc.com/pro_details...p?ProdID=20550 which is relatily large and heavy.
I also have this case:

http://www.dangerden.com/images/Case...C/IMG_0005.JPG
Its not my exact case but roughly the same size and all. MY question exactly which one out of those two is the best for my situation with heavy gaming, and is best suitable for my cpu, and will fit my case good, and the socket wont be right ontop of the cpu like my old shuttle AN35N board (
http://us.shuttle.com/specs.asp?pro_id=313) was. Also do the DFI boards last 9-12 months or is this a myth, and re they any good?, also any board suggestions will work, I am on a bit of a tight budget, so nothing above $129.99, I also need 8X AGP and the board must be stable for anything!, also the CPU socket cant be to close to PSU and must be able to support that ZALMAN copper flower cooler with still enough space from the PSU!.
Thanks you guys so much
