I was thinking of using this... having a streaming video above the loading that is basicly a fancy slide show of my work, using the area with the text for displaying content, and having a nav bar pop out by the arrow on the right. All done in flash... What do you think?
Yeah. I came across this http://www.dylanjamesmonroe.com/_04/pre_04.htm and designed that a day later and well it way too similar I just realised that... Oh well. I did learn a new trick in fireworks though and thats the main idea with all of my messing around.
How using a white border on a light colour against the grey dark colour (grey blue) in an interface provides you with a semi realistic 3d yet 2d edge. Yeah its a 1 pixle bexel but not exacltly I was playing with it a bit more and I was able to make a few neat effects but nothing worthy of sharing yet... Did that make sence? And it can be aplied to making logo's and other graphics alike to add specific effects if desired.
