Interefence with wireless internet and tv

Hi there

Up until today my wireless network has worked perfectly. We decided to move the television from one side of the house to another, and also have access to it upstairs, so we bought a wireless setup which gets rid of having to use cables....

However, now my network is having problems and also the television has interefence. I use a program called ezproxy to set up my networking, as I couldnt get it to work through xp as we have 2 xp machines and one windows 98.

Is there a solution to this problem... other than cables!!!

what problems is your network having?

try turning off all computers and your wireless router, and see if you still get interference with your tv, it may not have anything to do with your network.

Hi there

The problem I am getting is that when I activate my wireless network, it causes flicker lines across the TV... and when I look at the belkin config it looks like it is scanning for a new signal.

I have tried rebooting everything and it hasnt changed the problem. I wondered if there was a certain frequency that I can make the network operate on, other than channel 11. I dont use any security either, as the 98 pc cant configure the 2 xp's, so I have firewall protection so that I am covered there.

Its just very annoying...
