If you install ezproxy onto your main laptop or pc, and then if you are using xp or nt, go into services through administration, and make sure ezproxy starts automatically, then you will have no problems.... its ideal for home networking where you only need 2 machines seeing each other, otherwise you have to buy a licence, which isnt expensive, at least I dont think so... I have 3 machines, and havnt had a problem and havnt bought any licences....

Hmm. Can't get the site name to resolve. However, there is another firm called Lava Software at www.lavasoftware.com which is not selling anything called ezproxy. There is also an excellent product called "EZproxy" sold by UsefulUtilities.com which is for library use and has been around for years. So if lavasoftware.net is selling a different product called "ezproxy", they're ripping off two established names; their site name and their product name.

Internet connection sharing, a program built into the operating system that does more or less the same thing but there is no limit of 2 machines, once you learn how to configure the program it works fine
