Multi-function printers

Does anyone have any experience with these beasts in that you would recommend it ?

This will be used in a home and my old HP 900C just went belly up.


I really don't need color so just a reliable, inexpensive, printer,
fax, copier would work wonderfully.

And did I remember to say thanks.

I've used a Brother MFC-8300 for quite some time and have been happy with its performance. It's fast, reliable, and not much larger than a laser printer. It uses the same 'engine' as many of the Brother printers, so the toner cartridges are readily available.

I have the HP 2210 All in one, and love it.... the printing and scanning quality are great, and also all the other features.

If black and white is ok stay with laser as total cost of ownership works out to be much less than any ink-jet system out there....
