PDF file help

I have 5 PDF files that are about 80 pages long each. I want to break them into separate files, with 1 page each, using a certains naming formula. For example, I have SS1 for page one, SS2 for page 2, SS3 for page 3, and so on.

Does anyone know of an easy way to do this? Right now I'm extracting them one page at a time, and doing a "Save-as" This is very time consuming as there's about 400 pages total.

Quick input would be great, as I need to have this project done by the end of the weekend.

Do you have adobe acrobat reader 6 or the actual, Adobe Acrobat 6? (not the free one)

We're using Adobe Acrobat 5.0.

Split&merging tools, however, I don't know if any of them will do what you want, and none of them are free.

Thanks for the link muno. I was able to download a software from that link that allowed me to do exactly what I wanted. It was $150, but it will easily save me over 20 hours of work time. Well worth it in my mind from a cost analysis perspective.
