Small linux distro (looking for)

I am looking for a open source distro of Linux, one that can fit on one CDRom... but full function and that is updated often. (but not one of those floppy disk installs).

I have an older but good laptop I want to install it on so I can surf the web and check email out wirelessly in my yard.

Something based on Redhat would be good.

let me know if you have a link for a download.

thanks.

Peanut Linux or Vector Linux. Both available from LINUX ISO

Links to live linux versions...... all run from your cd rom drive and based on one cdrom...... (Knoppix is one, and can be installed on your hard drive)

Otherwise, Slackware 9.0 is nice.....

Wireless will be the toughest nut there. Not sure if either Peanut or Vector will support wireless PCMIA cards.

Be prepared to have to muck about a bit to get a wireless card working under some of the smaller distros.

Cheers
Mick

Its actually a wireless Dlink USB card.. I hope it works.. I am not sure what distro it would work under. I have a 20 GB hard drive on the laptop and its a 400 mhz celeron computer.
