I'll killed my sims game, can ya help?

I was deleting my sims game(Stubidly not using the un-installation, because i gave the disc to my sisters boyfriend) And decided not to and stoped, i went to my recycle bid and realized that my recycle bid seperated my sim Creator(comes with The Sims: Deluxe Edition) from its file,(I put alll the files in the maxis folder and im waiting to seperate them) so now, my game is completly screwed up It thinks i have a new expansion and wont let my play 'unleashed' Help meeeeeeeee pleeaseee...If you can give me the file names and folder names of the Sim creator, i would REAALLLLYY appreciate it.

Hi Wolf-girl400, Welcome to Techimo!

The only way to ensure the game gets fixed properly is to GET THE CD-ROM back and reinstall it. Sorry for the bad news.

If you really are masochistic you can try to assemble it yourself but the game has several thousand files(the original plus the patches plus any expansion packs) and each MUST GO in ITS correct folder and the associations in the game may still be messed up. Even if you think you have the files in the correct place, when you start the game it might still fail and not give you a real clue as to why.
I do not suggest such a plan. We're talking of 15 to 20 hours of work for a game that may not work when your finished.
