Systems NTLDR Missing?

Hello all,
Here's my situation.
I've got a new laptop.
P4 3.06G
1G RAM
60G HD

I have attempted to split up my 60G so that I can run Win2K,XP and RH9. (10G each with a seperate 30G read by all 3 systems)

My problem is that I partitioned the first 2 10G partions and installed WIN2K on the 1st one. But I cant seem to get XP installed on the 2nd.
If I insert the CD and try to run it with Win2k Running, I get the "End Task" crap. If I try to reboot with WinXP disk in the drive, I get an error "NTLDR Missing". Both disks are originals (Since it my own system I'm setting up )

Any ideas on this? Did I miss something?

OK, figured out my problem. Wasn't in any of those threads.
So I've got 1 question.........
How in the hell does a brand new cd come with crap on it?Literally!
I mean it came with a thin coat of gluey gooey stuff on the side that is read. Never bothered to look at it since I took it right from the package! Oh well, always seems to be the simple things that cause the problems. 2 out of 3 operating systems installed so far.
