Winxp Network Problem!!

Alright I have a tricky situtaion here, or at least to me it is. I have 3 computers hooked to a belkin router. The internet connection works great on all computers, when i setup the network it works for all of about two hours then the none of the computers can access each other. Sometimes you can see the other computers, other times you cant. When you can see them you cant access them. I believe all the settings are correct since everything works for awhile. What is the deal, it has me completely stumped.

Do you have XP's firewall enabled?

Do you have any other software firewalls installed {Zone Alarm, Norton Firewall, Sygate, etc..)?

Are all computers WinXP?

You also need to enable file sharing on each computer, and share at least one folder on each to be seen on the network.

Do you have to share a folder to share a printer?

Two of the computers are XP and the other is ME. File sharing is enabled and no other firewalls are installed. And XP firewalls are disabled. What is weird is how it works for awhile then doesnt. any ideas.

Are all of the computers part of the same Workgroup? What about your IP addresses? Are the static or does the router have a DHCP sever that is handing out the IPs?

You could also try putting a hosts file on each computer with the IP to Computer Name for each PC. When you start getting this problem, have you tried pinging each computer?
