Systems file recovery...complex-ish

I had files backed up on a separate hard drive which were deleted and emptied from the recycle bin. Then the harddrive was repartitioned and reformatted. Both before and after reformatting it was NTFS running winXP. Is there any way at all I could get to the files that were deleted before the reformatting?

I didn't do this myself, btw, though it was rather stupidly left on the drive on my part for someone else to delete and what-not...

Its possible, but very expensive. There are data recovery companies out there that might be able to do it but it would cost you alot.
