ATA/ DMA hard drive support ques

I have the asus a7v333 mobo.
If the mobo supports ultra dma/133 hard drive, will ultra ata/133 hard drive work as well?

Ultra DMA/133 and Ultra ATA/133 are the same thing, just with different marketing names. It'll work fine.

the standards for those names etc werent exactly well defined back in the day...different companies sort of made their own lingo.

But you can be assured that modern stuff has a pretty high degree of standardization.

So as Nighthawk said..yep, they are the same
