Another newborn Penguin!

Ok so I've thrown out Windows XP and installed Slackware Linux 9.1

Seems like it's working fine. Only thing that's not working right away is my Soundblaster PCI 128, but I'm sure that'll be easy to fix.

I've been trying to get this all day at work without any luck. It'll be a pain downloading it 56k at home.

I had that exact same card and if IRC all I had to do was load the module for that card to make it work. I think uncommenting out that module name in one of the init scripts was all it took to make the change permanent. Been a while since I've used Slack though so my input may be worth less than what you paid for it...

I believe the correct module is es1371 for most SB 128 cards, although I think a couple of versions were floating around. Thats off the top of my head though so you probably want to check I didn't just make it up
