Speakers AND headphones?
I have a Nforce2 board, which has onboard sound. I was told onboard sound uses the CPU, so I put in my SoundBlaster Live! card that I have.
Now, I have headphones that I use, and my PC speakers. The soundblaster card has two ports: front and back. Is there some way to make each port a "clone" on the over instead of two seperate channels? If I tell windows that I have 4 speakers, and thus sound comes out both ports, and technically my problem is solved, then my games think I have 4 pseakers and seperate the sound into seperate channels. Don't want that.
I know the Nforce sound can do it, but can the SB live?
