AGP support depends almost entirely on the motherboard drivers. Get the exact model of your motherboard and download the drivers from the company website. Just try installing those one more time.

The BIOS shouldn't be a problem. If the motherboard came with an AGP slot, the slot will be supported with the BIOS that came with it.

What company made your mobo? If you are using a computer like Emachines or HP, you're probably screwed.

What brand of motherboard do you have? It sounds like a motherboard problem, as the others have said.. If you don't have a Via chipset motherboard, the 4in1s won't help any

ALi and nVidia are two motherboard chipset manufacturers that support 2400+ Athlon XP chips. I'd at least get the motherboard model and see if you need some non-4in1 drivers.
