looks fancy, whats it got under the hood?

*edit* have you tried the manual that came with the motherboard? it should have everything you need in it, if not, then go to the manufacturers website, they often have all of the model # manuals.

check right behind where the led screen is for a wire or something that might look like a fan connector.

One quick hint:

~I'd suggest some rounded cables for the IDE and FLOPPY cables. Theyll make that interior look much nicer...looks a little crowded right now.

Great setup though...looks cool...love the display.

PS: What case is that? Id like to check it out.

Thanks,
Truckie

two key things you need!
1) round cables/round your own cables, cuz that will give you a LOT of extra air flow, its easier to fold and bend into your extra bays, and it just looks a lot cooler! if you cant do that, bust out the oragami book and fold those flat cables
2) put some tubing of some sort around your psu cables just to make them like round cables
also, you need to try and get all the cables you can into those extra bays so you dont restrict airflow from the intake fan

its an asus a7n8x deluxe mobo, amd athlon 2500 + xp, 512 mb ram, 80 gig wd hd, dvd-rw, logitech wireless keyboard and mouse & z 340 speakers. i just opened my case and found the loose wires.

there is one wire that has 5 holes and says:
vcc
usb2-
usb2+
gnd
shield

and another one (with 4 holes) that says
vcc
usb1-
usb1+
gnd

plus a cable with red/black wires

if this sounds confusing.....well, it is. c ya

I HAVE THAT CASE!!!
to get the LCD workin, get the Y connector which will fit with the small connector for the LCD, which is kind of square
then, you take the little brown thing(temp semsor) and throw it anywhere u want, careful though, bend it too much and it will cease to work(if its busted, an "L" will display, for LOSER)

I like the case....just work on the wiring a bit

Some of the things I have found that help are:

Run your cables from point A to B in the straightest and cleanest way possible. Take the excess slack and fold the cable back over on itself until all the slack is taken up, and secure that bundle.

Round IDE cables are nice, but not 100% necessary. IDE's fold back on themselves very well with a little time and effort to secure them in a folded state.

Zip ties are about the handiest thing ever for cable tidying. Add to that some small sticky tabs that have cutouts for zip ties and you can really start straightening things out.

Last but not least, I'd suggest split loom for cables that can't be hidden. Grouping 3 or 4 cables or sets of wires together in a run of split loom looks pretty pro.

Here's a look at how I did mine....I used rounded IDE's, split loom for the side fan, ran the heatsink fan power wire on the outside of the PSU rail, and ran the main mobo power connector straight up and bundled it out of the way at the top of the case.

How tidy you need it to be is up to you, but with a little planning and a couple hours work, it's not hard to make a huge difference.
