oh man i'm in love with this thing. Software and some hardware is expensive and support is tough in some areas, but all I did with my centrino lappy was internet surf, download porn, and trade stocks every once in awhile. This thing rocks....My DSL speed is better on this than on my PC...I wonder why??? Oh well.....the only thing that I dont like about this thing is that it set me back $2600.00 US

Does eveyone think Macs suck?? I dont think so....Any honest opinions out there are welcome. Thanks for listening to me brag....oh yeah one last thing...i'm thinking I should cell my Centrino Notebook.

80GB blah blah for my kid sister
She is in graphic design and needed a Mac for her work....That thing is HUGE!!! Its a monster. That thing ran me $3500!!! I bought hers and mine at the same time and now im almost broke ...But I luv these machines!!!

bah! You guys suck. By mid-Oct I'm planning to purchase the same PB model you bought Darknyt for $2299. That's with the educational discount. I'm probably going to have to sell my Linux box to get the rest of the funds, but I KNOW it'll be well worth it.

My uncle uses Mac for everything, he has like 2 or 3 of them. they are a bit to rich for my blood...ill stick to my $600 budget PC's. glad to hear you like it.

yeah...discounts are really great. if i get a job soon then i'm going to get the 15" powerbook (but only with the combodrive), but the cool thing is between developer discounts and educational discounts i can get it for around $1500 (with the superdrive is around $2k)
