How fast did you get your t-bred "A" to?

Hi gang.

I got my xp1700 t-bred "A" going at xp1900 speed (1.6ghz) on default core voltage and 133 fsb on my asus a7v133-c mobo. I can't go any faster even with increased core voltage. Any of you guys do any better with these "A"s cpus? Also the temp's the same as stock speed (46c-47c).

\o/ Billy

EDIT: Why does aida and sandra thinks my cpu is a duron?

You'll have to look at the cpu and see what your stepping code is. Mine's an AIRGA so it ends in "A". That's a t-bred "A". Stepping code that ends in "B" will be a t-bred "B".

EDIT: I got mine from newegg and I knew it was a gamble whether I'll get an "A" or "B". As you can see I got an "A" but what's the heck, I got it for $40 and free shipping.

Hmm... I checked and they'll tell me it's a t-bred and nothing more.

Before I had this 1800 Tbred-B, I had a 1700 Tbred-A.

Max mine would do was 1870Mhz, and was really on the edge, wopuldn't go any higher then that.

My B on the other hand, will do 2.2/400 in winter and during summer she'll do 2.0/333 too.

I got my Xp1700+ (DUT3C - don't know which it is, I think its a B though) to 1.63ghz with a K7S5A (147.8 fsb) , I think its the board holding back though, I upgraded the ram to PC2700, and did the chipset heatsink mod for the board, but it didn't help. Next buy will be an NForce2 board methinks.
