Standby Mode's Gone

Hello all,

I'm currently using win98 and when i shut down i used to get standby,shut down,restart,and restart in ms_dos,

But now standby mode's gone, i never used it but silly things like that really bug me, is there anyway to bring it back.

well there are 2 places to check. look in power management in control panel and see if you disabled it there. if not, have a look see in your bios.
