DVD Burner not burning!
I have a compaq box with a DVD burner in it (came stock with the pc), and I'm running XP. Here's the issue... the built in XP burner software doesn't work, Roxio doesn't work, & Nero doesn't work. It will go through the whole burning process (obviously is writting something to the CD since it's showing as written on) but then once it's done burning and has confirmed closing the CD it will not open anything it just burned... hell it won't even recognize that there is a cd in the burner... or even if I put the CD in the CD-ROM it does the same thing, acts like nothing is there and can't open it. Sometimes it will try to read it, then just freezes the PC. I have reformatted the PC and that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?
