Word 2003 copypaste?

When I just copy some simple text from a website, let's say couple words from yahoo.com and paste it on Word, it would take a long time just to paste those couple words (it seems like it stops responding). And my firewall says something is Outgoing to yahoo.com or whatever site that I copied the text from. Why does it do that? Is it some new pointless feature in 2003?

Well, it seems like it is just yours because I have Word 2003 and I just tried that. It does it almost instantly. Maybe it's just because it needs to connect to Yahoo to get the contents that need to be pasted and your firewall is slowing you down.
