gaming centre

Do you think creating a gaming centre like this http://www.gamecity-usa.com/ is a good investment with top of the line games like half life 2(when it comes out) and very decent computers. For starters just a lan then expand to the internet, 20 computers plus a few servers to start.

p.s I hope this is ok to write if not just delete and sorry if it isn't

the topic is fine. i know of a "gaming centre" locally, and it is a cool hang out spot. you just have to remember the 3 L's of a business.

1. Location
2. Location
3. Location

i would think right across the street from a school, or in a community with lots of male teenagers

and just for a plug... www.elmos.com

i have looked into this, because these places have to make some big bux to pay for t1 lines that can cost around 1g a month... basically just make a time sheet, have one of your workers mark in the time they start, and basically catch em whenever they are done... thats how my old one goes, and it works very well

elmos uses account time limits through an NT server to log onto the domain. when you give them money, they give you more time that you are allowed to be on.
