Kids POLL: #1 computer problems (Answers are welcome!)

Hi! I have been wondering how to find as much information as possible about how to fix computers, and was hoping that this post would be a good source to gather solutions. You folks out there are a terrific resource for someone like me!
After you add to the poll, Please submit at least one solution (Problem....... Answer), I understand that there are x amount of ways a computer can fail but every little piece of info can help.
Thanks!

you left off the most important and widespread problem....user error! They click on stuff and get confused and do dumb stuff like if they get a warning for low memory, they start deleting files at random.....and even if they have no clue how to browse when saving documents they somehow find out how to browse to the windows folder where they delete system files cuz "I didnt know what it was so I deleted it".

There was a thread I started long ago asking what were the most common troubleshooting situations....it would have a lot of the stuff you are looking for.

I was going to say what JP already said. 80% of my jobs are that, user screwups.

yeah, and mcafee also.

I remember reading a service tag that summed it up.

it said "I installed McAfee and my computer quit working".

Most of the problems and error regarding computing is the users fault and sometimes ignorance IMO. I think thats the number one reason. After that I think hardware issues can also be related to many prblems, but usually its the users fault, at least most of the time. Thats why I get so many error all the time
