belkin router troubles

my girlfriend has this router http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...&catoid=-10265 and she keeps having problems with it disconnecting now heres the thing. ( despite my warnings) she has used kazaa. once she has had it and runs it for a while and then she runs adaware. guess what IT FINDS spyware whoda thunk it. Kazaa has spyware anyway adaware deletes part of kazaa as im sure all you guys know but what ive noticed is that everytime she gets kazaa and does this it screws the router up. ( she keeps doing it this way everytime and i have to go over and fix it) my question is is kazzaa doing this is she doing this or is the router just screwed?

well if she instist on using Kazaa.. tell her to try kazaa-lite www.kazaalitesite.com it comes up as spyware free with both adaware and spybot search and destry

is it possible that it's actually the ISP cutting her off temporarily for 'excessive bandwidth uasge"? I have noticed my isp does that if I leave a p2p running and walk away from my computer.... BUT if I web surf or do something else online @ the same time they don't cut me off...
