I am a new user to edonkey. I have noticed after extended periods of its use it seems to gobble up my memory. For example I left edonkey on last night and when I got up this morning it had reduced my memory to 40mb (I have 512MB btw). As soon as I exit edonkey my memory goes back up to what it usually is.
yes it uses up ur memory juices like that, but it wanna download slow, ain't that something, maybe many ppl don't wanna use edonkey cause it makes their memory low too
