Linksys router problem

I set up a home network today with my current pc , and my laptop , the problem is that i cant host a game because of the router , anyone here know why the router is stopping me from hosting ??

Depends on the game

You'll probably have to forward ports to your machine for the game.

You'll have to either find out the ports, or let us know what game it is to help.
