building a new PC

Hey all,
I'm just wandering what you think. I'm going to order parts for a new PC, I want to build. I'll be using a P4 3.0 GHz and a 9800 ATI.

Why P4, just want to try it out!!!
Now about the Video Card, is there something new comming up in the next couple month that I should just wait??? Also, is there any difference in performance between a Radeon and an All-in-wonder????

Thanks for your time, and letting me know what you think about this!!!!

Good choice on the proccessor BTW and both the AIW and Radeon 9800 Pro perform the same. If you want a card I'd recomend waiting until the 9800XT comes out and buy that or buy the 9800 Pro at that time because thier prices should lower with the introduction of the XT series. BTW I heard Best Buy has 9800NP on sale for $250 with Infeon ram, I heard that it OC's to 9800 Pro levels with NO BIOS FLASH. If I get the $$$ and the XT isn't out yet I'll go for the BBA Best Buy 9800, oh and in the case of RAM get Kingston HyperX, I love the stuff!!!

There's always something new coming out & you can't wait forever. Best bet is to buy the best one that's out at the time you build you're computer (assuming you can afford it)

Figure I would post this, just incase you were interested.

I found a deal on an ATI 9800 SE for about $180.

Here are some benchmarks from ATI comparing the various types of the ATI 9800 series.

Thanks
