Problem with NAV

When ever i try to run the Live Update i get a message sayin something like

Lost internet connection...........

Everytime i retry to do it some thing happens. any ideas?

Ive also loaded NAV on a new HD and i get the same thing. Tryed restalling and the same.

Maybe your internet connection is having some problems and actually its not NAV's fault.

i checked all connections and network connections, call my DSL provider, and everything good to go

so im not sure what the problem is

Hum, do you use a firewall? If you do check if you havent untentionaly or automatically (happens sometimes) blocked the access for the connection to LiveUpdate. This is an odd problem and it could be connection problems, I am pretty sure its not NAV though, there is something else to blame here

had XPs firewaal up, turned it off and tryed it, still no go, tryed to turn the firewall back on and i got an error about file sharing and it couldnt take commands or something, so i rebooted and got the firewall back up but still no update

Hum again, Have you tried to contact Symantec about this? You can send them an e-mail saying what your problem is or just make a search in their database to see if you can find some similar problem of yours. I really cant help you much more since I dont really know what the problem can be, since all my options already were eliminated. Try my last option, and if that doesnt work either maybe some other member can help you better than me, I am sure there are guys who can help you big time. Hope this helps and good luck

search out there website and updated the live update and she works good now
