Cleaning LCD'S?

This might sound like a stupid question but I know I can count on the members of TechIMO to bless me with their wonderful knowledge. I recently switched over from a traditional CRT to a LCD display but I am somewhat confused on how to clean the surface. Back when I had a CRT, it was a simple matter of spraying the windex and wipe. But I'm not sure how should I go about cleaning the surface of this LCD. I need some advice before I go ahead and make a stupid mistake. Any and all help is greatly appreciated as always!

Use a soft washcloth and warm water. No type of solvents or sprays. Does the trick for me. Gently, clean! Do not apply alot of pressure to the screen.
