Laptop To Stereo

Hello, I have a toshiba satillte laptop, and i am wondering how too hook it up too a stereo so that i can play my MP3's thru the bigger speakers (for a party), i ahvnt bought the stereo yet cuz i didnt know if there was something specifi that i need on it, any help would be apprecatied.

Assuming that your laptop has a standard headphones jack (1/8" female) and the stereo has standard auxilary in ports (2 female RCA, one red and the other white or black), all you need is a cable that has a headphones plug on one end (1/8" male) and 2 rca plugs on the other end (both male, one red and the other white or black again).
