Splinter Cell Rendering Problem

So this is the deal......

I went out and bought myself a Compaq Presario 2100 with an ATI Mobility Radeon Graphics card (configurable up to 64MB shared memory).

After buying Splinter Cell I attempted to run it. It goes through all the welcome screens, intro, etc. When I finally try to load a mission my computer retarts itself and gives me this warning:

General protection fault!

History: FD3DRenderInterface::SetMaterialBlending <- FD3DRenderInterface::SetMaterial <- FStaticMeshRender <- FDynamicActor::Render <- RenderLevel <- FLevelSceneNode::Render <- FCameraSceneNode::Render <- UGameEngine:raw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciate. Thanks alot.

You'll probably want to go to Compaq's site to get the newest Mobile drivers, actually. I just went through it with a Dell laptop. ATi says to use the vendor's drivers. Just a heads up.
