Vid settings change on me

I've had this problem before, but I don't remember the solution. My resolution changes from 10X7 to 8X6 by itself when it comes out of sleep mode, etc. What gives? I just upgraded to the 40.72 Nvidea drivers.

i cant find anything on a google, just that some driver versions were supposed to fix that. and i guess getting rid of sleep mode isnt an option right?

Well, I could turn it off and make it always on...

Haven't had a problem since I changed the res to screen resolution in BF1942.....seems like that outstanding game is the cause of more headaches than it's almost worth...almost

Well, I installed the latest Nvidia drivers and I'm still getting the same problem. Wakes out of sleep mode at the wrong resolution ( and the task bar is blank ).

not a solution...i just love ur dragonfly, and the location is kewl!!! where u get fly...wings fluttering is fab...no im not weird.

Made him myself. He is the second iteration of the original. The one I had before this has water undulating underneath him. Never thought up a name for my little fella though....hmmmm.
