Spam IE toolbars!!! AAHHH (last similar post had an error)

Can anyone tell me how to keep these bastardchilds of technology from autoinstalling thru IE? They seem to constantly bombard me and make me manually uninstall them.

thnx in advance

You're in IE... you will get spyware
You have to tiptoe through any sites that aren't mainstream as its quite possible they'll have Spyware.

Run FAR Away from IE.. it welcomes spyware with open arms "For your benefit" of course

If you don't like Opera, thats fine but then try mozilla

Try the alternatives

First off get rid of the existing spyware
www.lavasoft.de -- adaware
Spybot is another good one, but don't know the site.

Disable ActiveX and Java. Not a perfect solution, but it does block most toolbar installers.
