Networking 2 computers together

Alrighty, I got my new computer today, and everything is set up, and I want to nework it to my old one. Both systems run win2k, and the Crossover cables are already plugged in, what do I do?

edit: I think all you have to do is make sure the comps have the same ip and mask for them to talk together.Could and probably am wrong..

Xeroid, Helmig changed his link as his old site is shutdown. Now you need to go to www.wown.com. And specifically, the Windows 2000 page.
