whats a good place to rent servers from?

that doesnt help. no place is good for all games. its much easier to search for a specific game, and then find a good server.

for battlefield 1942, www.divo.net is about the best server

not to mention what is ur definiton of expensive ($$ per player slot)?

hmm.. lets like this.. yes sir we have server for rent, and also you can rent a game to go with it. O' and wait you have to supply the OS. Hmm.. O' I almost forgot you have to buy the server first so we can rent it to you..LOL
